Party Poker

First of all you have 7 Card Stud, this game is offered because it has been around for many years, and has always been very popular. It is a little different from the standard draw or community card game which makes it more exciting. The game is played with seven cards as its name suggests, each time a card is dealt the player gets to make a bet (after the first three cards are dealt). When all of the cards are on the table the player has to make the best possible five card poker hand and see if they have beat everyone else at the table. That part at the end of the game when everyone shows their cards and the hands that they think are good enough to win are what makes the whole game so exciting.

Another game that will get your blood pumping with excitement is Texas Hold’em. This game is possibly the most popular type of poker right now because of all of the publicity that is all over television. This is the game that is featured in all of the tournaments that you see on TV, because it is a game that is filled with action. The game is played with two hole cards for each player and five community cards for every player at the table to use. If you have never played this game it’s very easy to learn. First the blinds are placed, which are basically little bets by the two players to the left of the dealer to make the pot active. After that happens the hole cards are dealt out, players bet, the Flop is laid out on the table, which are the first three community cards, players bet again, then the Turn is laid on the table, which is the fourth community card. Finally after players bet again the River is laid out which is the last community card. Now that all cards are out on the table each player has to make their best five card poker hand, whoever has the best hand wins.

These are only two of the poker games available but all of the other games at Party Poker are just as great or better, just come and try them for yourself.
